BACK TO SCHOOL KIT FOR TAIT STUDENTS
Getting Ready for September
Sometimes starting back to school in September can put quite a strain on an already tight family budget. Each year parents wonder what purchases need to be made for their children’s return to school. Please note that it is not necessary to spend a lot of money on large marker sets and many other tempting items. The following chart is a guideline for making purchases. As usual, basic supplies will be provided by the school and items listed below are optional. Students in grades 2-6 will be given a day planner which costs $8. Please do not purchase 3-ring binders or white-out. When purchasing a backpack, please consider the size and weight of the backpack and the health risk to your child’s back. As well, a pair of indoor and outdoor shoes/ boots are needed all year round.
Please remember to label all items of clothing and supplies.
