October 7th, 2014
Tait’s annual Food Drive for the Food Bank began this week, and continues through until October 17th. With Thanksgiving approaching we want to take time to reflect on those things for which we are thankful, but also we want to remember those less fortunate. Many food banks and other social services are in desperate need of resources this time of your to help those whom they serve.
Donations to help our local food bank can be brought into the school and will be collected in each class room.
Suggested Items: pasta (Sidekicks, Kraft Dinner, etc.) soup, canned food, condiment, cereal, baby food etc.
Donations to the Food Bank help over 1000 low-income households and 34 community agencies, assisting in programs that help move families out of poverty.
If you have any items to donate after the 17th, please drop them off directly at the Food Bank.
