October 25th, 2016
Tait will be having our annual Hallowe’en Parade on Monday October 31, at 9:30am.
Dressing up is voluntary at Tait, if your child wishes to dress up, they are invited to wear their costumes to school in the morning, or another option would be to wear their favourite orange and black outfit.
Costumes are to be non-violent with no swords, guns, or gory masks. Please ensure your child can see well in their costume-masks are discouraged if possible. Costumes should not be disrespectful to others, if clothing represents a person’s culture or religion/religious beliefs-it should not be worn as another person’s costume.
The parade begins at 9:30 and the children will parade through all the classrooms in the school. Students not participating in the parade will have an alternate activity to participate in.
Parents are invited to view the parade as it passes through the new gymnasium. For safety reasons, please do NOT stand in the hallway.
Following the parade, the students will remove their costumes and change into regular school clothes. Please be sure your child has clothing to change into.
Also ensure that your child has a bag to carry his/her costume home. Parents who are present may wish to take the costumes with them at that time.
ENJOY A SAFE AND
HAPPY HALLOWE’EN!
