Many in our Tait Street community are mourning the loss of Lauren Destun.  Lauren attended Tait Street PS from 2007 to 2014 and although she graduated to St. Andrews and eventually Southwood Secondary School, her impression was left on all Staff and classmates who had the privilege to be a part of her elementary school experience.  Lauren passed away on Monday April 23 while battling a difficult illness, which she faced head on and with the courage and optimism one would only expect from her.

We send our deepest sympathy to the Destun family, and we hope that they know how much they mean to us at Tait Street PS.
