This artwork is a collaborative creation by Tait Street PS and the Cambridge Busy Hands Quilters Guild.  Each diverse and unique button on the project represents the individual that sewed it on.  Together we form a community of learners.  All buttons are attached with red thread to represent the bond of sharing of our school, community and Canada together.  The remaining space represents room in our community for new members as we grow.  The white material in the center of the logo resembles a heart shape, symbolizing love and appreciation for our country as we commemorate Canada’s 150th anniversary of Confederation.

Special thanks to the Busy Hands Quilters Guild for their expertise, effort and time to help us make this project possible.
