Calling all Tait Street parents and guardians!

Your Tait Street School Council is excited for the new 2016-2017 school year!  We are hopeful that you’ll consider joining School Council to help Tait Street continue to be a wonderful school. There is a place for everyone in school council – you can be involved to whatever degree works best in your and your family’s schedule.

Our School Council contributes to the school in many ways: from providing input and feedback in areas such as: safety issues and school climate; to organizing school and community events such as: special lunch days, the annual Tait Street Fun Fair , and new this year, the Family Fun Math night.

What is school council?  A school council is an important venue for the various stakeholders in education to work in partnership.  Its role, in collaboration with the principal, staff, and the community, is to help set the priorities of the school, and to enhance learning opportunitites, through various activities, for the benefit of our children/students.
